There are a number of other free classified ad sites out there. Very often if you are looking for local coverage there are free online classifieds offered by local newspapers or other online services specific to your area. Try typing into Google "free online classifieds (your town or city)." There are also a number of services that have been proven sources for traffic, including the following:

http://hoobly.com (excellent rankings in Google)

http://kijiji.com (fairly recent but owned by eBay.com)

http://hotfrog.com

Also, for product listings don't forget that Google offers a free service that has been created to supplement and eventually replace it's own shopping engine, froogle.com. It's called Google Base. Check it out at http://base.google.com.
