Inexpensive shopping in berlin?

Question

where is the best place to shop inexpensively in berlin, find good bargains?

also, are there any good second-hand stores (for clothing & shoes) worth trying out?

KURFÜRSTENDAMM!! go there and you'll understand... It's a great and beautiful place to shop, not particularly cheap, but all right.. and when you're there try and go down some of the small streets - you'll find interesting small shops.

Also check the area  around and in Tacheles (east Berlin) - it's a place for everything alternative and it's a must to see when you're in Berlin.

You really don't need to go KADEWE, there is very expensive. Look in the phone book Second Hand shops, there is so many in Berlin. You can also search on the Internet.
