  1. Huggies were the best ones for diapers and wipes for my kids, except my daughter's skin has been so sensitive lately that I've switched to the Seventh Generation brand for wipes. They are all natural with no chemicals.

Regular laundry soap is just fine, just don't use as much as you would for your clothes. The baby laundry soap is a waste of money. Enfamil is the best brand of formula. Neither one of my kids could tolerate dairy well so they were on Enfamil Prosobee (soy). Avent bottles did nothing but leak all over, so I switched to Dr. Brown's for #2 and it was a great switch!

Aveeno baby cleanser works way better than Johnson's.

The book "Baby Bargains" was my bible when deciding what I wanted for my kids.

  2. I use huggies and then when they get in size three switch to luvs because they are a bit cheaper, and by then the baby skin is a little less delicate.

I use pampers baby fresh wipes just because they smell really good.

I use soothie bottles because they seem to work the best.

I like johnsons head to toe baby wash and baby lotion, but if I can find generic versions of everything I think that is okay too, if its somewhat comparable to the real thing.

  3. I hate to sound cheap, but I use a lot of Target brand stuff that is the same as the nice expensive stuff. The lavendar bath products - same as Johnson and Johnsons - Target has them for about 1/3 the price (or less).  Target also has decent diapers for cheap, and even formula. My daughter couldn't use the Target brand formula because she wouldn't take to it, but if yours does, it's not a bad idea. Otherwise, you could probably stick to the main Enfamil or Similac - I don't think one is better than the other.

I use Playtex Ventaire bottles and I like them. I've heard Advent ones leak from the bottle top if you don't s***w them on right, but I've never had them, so I don't know for sure. I've also heard that Dr. Brown bottles are great and so are the Playtex drop-ins. I tried both, but went back to my ventaire bottles - just liked them better!

  4. Well as for diapers and wipes i like using Pampers..

As for bottles i use Soothes and Dr.Brown

As for formula it kinda depends on your baby..My baby uses Enfamil ..And as for soaps and stuff i use Aveeno for baby it works great

  5. for my son i use huggies diapers and wipes the diapers absorb more than pampers brand and the wipes are thicker, for formula i use enfamil,he took well to it did't spit up much.you'll have to try them to see which your baby does well with.good luck

  6. huggies are the best to use my baby is 2 1/2 months and i love huggies no leaks and when the diaper is full it does not look loke ur not taking good care of ur baby as far as changing his or her diaper. as far as food i feed my baby earths best organic food or cereal it is good for him and also keeps his bowels consistant and regular.  soap use sensitive skin johnson and johnson b/c thier skin is very delicate at that age. if u have wic they will only pay for similac advance so u can use that or pay for similac advance organic. avent bottles and pacifiers are the best to use ur baby will have hardly any gas or throw up his food  target is the best place to get them good luck !!!!

  7. Diapers - Depends on the baby. What works for my daughter doesn't necessarily mean it will work for your child. What works best for my daughter are Pampers. Some people swear by Luvs, but they leaked for my daughter.

Wipes - I only use unscented ones, so not much help there.

Bottles - Also depends on the baby. I use Ventaire bottles.

Soaps - I use any store brand baby shampoo.

Formula - There is no best kind to use. It is what works for your child.

  8. If you have the money Pampers swaddles/cruiser.  otherwise luvs.  best wipes, pampers sensitive.  Johnson bath stuff. Advent bottles, munskin bottle brush.  Generic formula is just as good was name brand.  THe FDA regulates it.  so target, walmart, your grocery store....

  9. Diapers: There really isnt any "better" brands, just a matter of mom-preference. I really like LUVS, they work just as good as the leading brands, but a couple dollars cheaper. It wont hurt to buy a small pack of walmart or target diapers to see if they work. If they arent up to par, you can return them.

Bottles: I really like MAM, Dr. Brown, and Advent, MAM pacifier's are amazing; they're the only one's my son will take. "The First Year" bottle and nipples weren't very good. Also, check on craigslist for baby bottles. Buying them used isnt a big deal, and you can buy new nipples at any store.

Soaps:They all work the same. What smells the best to you? I love the smel of Johnson & Johnson, but Aveeno Baby Lotion goes on the nest.

Formula: Also, a matter of preference. Some babies only like Similac, some only Nutramigien, Enfamil, etc..I tried Walmart's Parent Choice and it tasted like watery sawdust. Use any kind you would like except soy. Soy is made for babies who have a proven lactose intolerance test (your ped. can give a test) so I wouldnt mess with that. You would only need that if your baby was showing colicky symptoms or had an allergic reaction to reg. formula, or an intolerance to your breastmilk if you eat/drink a lot of dairy.
