Infant death after birth ?

What are some causes of infant death after birth. (What I mean is a few minutes, hours of days after the birth...)

Cord complications.  My daughter passed away within minutes, I was 36 weeks and she was normal but her cord twisted close to her belly cutting off her life supply.  It's been a year and most devastating.  It almost would have been easier if something would have been wrong with her, at least I would have known that she was better off than living in this cruel world with disabilities.

there can be all kinds of reasons why a baby might unexpectedly die after birth.  Complications with birthing, genetic deformities, early delivery, Underdeveloped vital organs, SIDS, gosh there are so many.  Perhaps if we knew a little more about the scenario we could help more.  Sorry you had to post this question, I can only imagine why you would be asking....
