Is it ok to for a 9 month old infant to drink frisian flag powder milk?

  1. the department of health advised mothers to continue breastfeeding their child up to 2 years.this mean that we should not mixed it with a formula milk.


  2. Babies under one shouldn't drink any milk other than infant formula (or breastmilk of course) - not because it's actively bad for them, but because they need the nutrients which they can get from formula but not from other milk.

  3. new studies in Canada say the you can introduce whole milk between the ages of 9-12 months.  Is the powder milk whole milk?  If so you can start introducing it slowly and have him on whole milk by 12 months.

  4. i wouldnt advise it hun...bit too young, i started my son on cows milk at 11 months, but it wasnt powdered stuff, it was fresh milk.

  5. Powder formula but not powder milk.  If you just don't have the money to pay for it, buy the inexpensive store brand.  DO NOT GIVE BABY REGULAR POWDER MILK.  It does not have enough nutrients.  You could also contact your state for fianncial assistance if needed.  BAbies should be on formula for one year then whole milk.
