Infatnt laws?

I have a jeep wrangler and its only a summer toy. i was curious if that there were any laws ( Illinois ) that say i cant have a baby in the back of a wrangler w/ the top and doors off if they are in a car seat?

http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/people/injury/a... and look at Illinois.  Doesn't say you can't have them in a jeep with the top and doors off.  Common sense would seem to dictate what is best in such a case, but it doesn't seem to be illegal.

No laws that say that you cannot do that but just keep the seat in the middle if at all possible.

...Mmmmm,not sure but there are no laws on how old a child can be on the back of a motorbike....its a strange old world
