Infected by a virus. help please....?

Question

my laptop computer has been infected by a virus a month ago.

and then my anti virus has already terminate it though i am still thingking if the virus are really gone. when i scan my computer with my anti virus (AVAST) it tell me that there are no viruses detected. i also have spybot. does the viruses were really terminated. help plzz..

wall if you got avast you want have any virus i mean that avast is the best

but if you want to make shore unistall your avast and spybot

and go to www.eset.com and install

NOD32

or

ESET smart sacrity

or look on that site for a online virus skaner

If you antivirus scanned no virus then there is no more virus on it try the spybot  it also detect the virus and spyware in your laptop ,to be sure..

If your AV says it has deleted or quarantined the virus then you can relax. However, update your AV and run the scan again. I am sure you are safe as AVAST is a good program although I use AVG.
