So i thought it was infected a couple weeks ago, so i wet back to the piercer and they were closed because of some problems, so i went to another couple and asked them for their opinion, all of them said it wasn't infected and to just get a certain anti bacterial spray that i've ben using 3 times a day. I find that salt water just dries out my skin ALOT.

But i admit i have changed it alot and i've only had it like 3 months.

Well now it's sort of gettin worse and i'm convinced it's infected.

The outside is very red and puffy but only aroud the piercing and sort of looks bruised.. it doesn't hurt at all just feels itchy. And on the inside my skin is trying to grow over it cause i had a small bar in but changed it to a bigger one but it still feels like the skin is trying to grow over it, and theres a lil bit of skin that has some whitey stuff on it on the inside touching the piercing.. I REALLY don't wanna take it out =(

And if i do take it out how long would it be till i could get it re pierced? Could i even get it re pierced?

Helpp x

  1. okay one thing. STOP CHANGING IT!

you are irritating it like crazy. The white stuff is fine its just the skin that is softened by the saliva.

It feels like it is but you must see if it is.

The puffiness and stuff is from irritation of changing and moving it around a lot.

Apply ice to it 15 min on and off throughout the day to stop the puffiness. If infected it would be pussing greenish brown and would have a sent to it, it seems fine and is just irritated.

if in a week it is still really puffy and red get it checked out then.

When I say apply ice i mean apply it throughout the day for a few days becuase you have obvivously irratied it a lot.

  2. I had my monroe done about a year and a half ago. It sounds like you've been changing the piercing to much my gaging it. That's notttttt good to do when a piercing is new. Every time you eat or drink you must use mouthwash (Little or NO alcoholl) for the inner part of your mouth and a certain type of liquid to put on the surface.  The skin is trying to grow over the inner part of your inner mouth because it is trying to heal. Leave it alone and keep cleaning your mouth. If problems persist go to a professional and be detailed with your problem.

  3. Don't, I hate it, it's a very chavvy piercing!
