Infection after wisdom teeth removal!! HELP?

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out on the 25th of july.

this morning i woke up to my mouth hurting, and i looked and to the right of the side of my mouth looks a little swollen, not too bad. and i looked inside my mouth and where i got it removed and it was swollen.

we called my oral surgeoun and he got pills for me to take.

what else can i do to help it??!

and will the swelling go up at all any more

if so, how can i reduce the swelling

  1. To reduce the swelling, place an ice pack on the side of your face that is affected. 20 minutes on 20 minutes off. Keep doing this for about an hour. Some swelling is normal after this type of oral surgery, so don't panic. It probably isn't an infection. Make sure you follow all of the instructions given to you and take all of the antibiotics as prescribed.

    I just got my last one in 2 days ago.
