Infection or fractured hand?

I have a Palm tree outside of my house that I was trimming back. I was placing the fronds I removed in the a trash can and one stuck me. The point of the frond leaf stuck my left hand on the top by the knuckles. I noticed at work that night that my hand was hurting where it had poked me. I opened the cut where the frond point stuck me and puss and a small pointy end of the fond came out of my hand. I cleaned it up with peroxide and didn't think anything of it. The next morning my middle finger feels like it is broken. I cannot bend my finger all the way and it hurts really bad. I am curious if it might have poisoned my joints or without me knowing it, I might have broke my finger or something. I need help guys so please some real answers. my hand is swollen and it is close to where the fond point came out. but like I said I removed all the puss and blood the night before. It has been three days now and when I wake up in the morning my hand hurts really bad and is swollen.

  2. You probably have cellulitis. You should go to the doctor immediately for antibiotics and to have the wound cleaned.

  3. you may have more of the frond in your hand but probably have a bad infection.  you need to see a doc and have it cleaned up, at the very least
