Infection wont come out?

My big toe is really infected. It's like all blistered and huge, and it is constantly bleeding. I don't know what to do to get the infection out. I've tried EVERYTHING! I have gone to the doctor twice. Both times they have prescribed me antibiotics and both times they haven't worked. I don't know what to do. The last time I went they said if it didn't work this time, then I would to go into surgery. But we don't have the money to do that right now. I don't know what else to do? Does anybody have any idea of how to get the infection out? I'll try anything. It's very painful...

  1. Are you sure it isn't an ingrown toe nail? If you go back to the doctor, ask if that could be it, and they could remove it for you.

  2. go to the doctors

  3. Try soaking your foot in some Epsom Salts and water. Get a big bowl or tub (big enough to put your foot into) and add lots of hot water. Not too hot but warm enough to be comfortable. Then add the Epsom Salts. Read directions on label to see how much to put in. Soak your foot 2-3 times a day for 3-4 days. It works wonders! I had a bad dog bite on my leg and was told to use the Epsom Salts and it worked very well. And if you can stand it, while your foot is in the tub, get a cup or something and pour the water over your toe about a dozen times. Then continue soaking. Don't soak for more than about 20 min. Good luck. You can buy epsom salts just about anywhere. The local drug store, Wal-Mart, etc.
