Inflamed taste bud...OUCH!?

Does anyone know if there's anything that can help ease the pain of an infmlamed taste bud? and how long does it take to heal?

i don't know about anything you can do for it. but it will should only take a couple days to heal, if you don't mess with it.

and it shouldn't take more than a few days.. i mean the life of a taste bud is like a week, and i'm sure that shortens it anyway. so definitely less than a week. probably like 2-3 days.
