  1. Caution! They are flexible and do not respond quickly to the paddle. Many are not 'dry'. They may be better than an inner tube but they are not an inexpensive answer to a rigid canoe or kayak. I would advise against their use in cold water. They are great in warm water and shallow streams for water fun.


  2. I call mine an Inflatable Kayak.... It's made by AIRE... and it's awesome so fun and you can take it anywhere. I recently ran Class IV water in it so it's tough. And if you wanted you can strap gear to it for overnighters or more.

    And the really nice thing about it is if/when you flip or are bucked out you've got 700lbs of floatation right there!

    Other brands NRS, SOAR and Sevyour [Cheap kind].
