Inflatable boat with outboard?

can anyone tell me if or where I can use a boat with a 6hp motor on any reservoirs in lancashire, if so which ones, and do you have to pay? cheers

Look up local ski clubs or jet ski clubs they will be using lakes that you can take boats on.You may have to pay to take a proficiency course to prove you can handle the boat safely.I know it sound stupid i spent ten years at sea and logged over 50000 sea miles sailing and using powered craft and was told i had to pay £50 for this before i could take my boat on the water

You are not normally permitted to use engine powered boats on reservoirs, think about it, engine exhaust and oil mixed with water that has to be prepared for drinking.

You can sometimes get permission for row or sail boats but thats about it.
