Inflation Surges in June, Now prepare for July 24th When Minimum Wage goes from 5.85 to 6.55 per Hour. Looks like more of the same for the future. Are you ready to pay even more $$$ for that Loaf of Bread and Gallon of Milk?

  1. Farm hands and bakers most generally make more than minimum wage, so that would be irrelevant to those businesses.  I can't ever remember any notable "surge" in prices even at businesses that rely on this type of labor (discount stores etc.)  With inflation at it's present pace, this was an appropriate increase.

  2. I dont think congress realizes that the last thing businesses need right now with inflation, high gas prices, and high food costs is a minimum wage increase! Now they will be forced to raise their prices even more and who will be affected by this? The consumers! YOU ME US AND WE!             INDEPENDENTS FOR MCCAIN 08!!!

  3. Yes and have you sent your letter of gratitude to junior and the gang of thieves in the White House?

  4. Funny, the last dozen times the minimum wage went up there has been no uptick in the inflation rate.

  5. Stupid America! I want to move out of this country, I swear!
