  1. What are you asking about? Where to find in flight passenger information?...Be more specific!

  2. (m)

    Your Safety

We suggest you practice the following safety habits whenever you fly:

Familiarize yourself with the aircraft you are flying in.

Keep your seatbelt fastened at all times when seated...regardless if the seatbelt sign is illuminated or not.

Pay attention to your flight attendant for any important information and/or instructions.

    Assigned Seats

Seats on all Comair flights are assigned for various reasons. If you would like to change seats, please check with the flight attendant before doing so.

    Carry-on Baggage

All carry-on baggage must fit underneath the seat in front of you or in the overhead storage bins. If there is no available room, or your luggage does not fit in the overhead bins or under your seat, please inform the flight attendant. We will gladly "Pink-Tag" your baggage and place it in the baggage compartment for retrieval at plane-side upon arrival at your destination. See the baggage information page for more information.

    In-flight Safety Briefing

Comair asks that you please pay attention to and follow along with your safety card, the in-flight safety briefing on your flight. Every aircraft is different and it is important that you are familiar with emergency procedures and the location of the nearest emergency exit in the unlikely case of an emergency. Also, if seated in an emergency exit row, please read the red emergency exit row information card located in your seat pocket. You must be able to comply with all the information mentioned on the card as well as be able to operate the emergency exit.

    Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs)

Current regulations prohibit the use of certain types of portable electronic devices (PEDs) on board commercial aircraft, due to the potential for interference with navigational and communications equipment.

The following devices may not be operated at any time on Comair aircraft: cellular telephones, commercial two-way transmitters (walkie-talkies); amateur transmitters (ham radios); citizens' band (CB) transmitters; 49 MHz transmitters; devices designed to radiate RF energy on a specific frequency; peripheral devices for computers or games connected by cable (printers); AM/FM radios and portable TV sets; remote-control toys.

The following may not be operated when the aircraft is at the gate, or in the taxi, take-off initial climb, approach, and landing phases: personal computers (cable-connected peripheral devices such as printers, external disc drives, etc., are not authorized); personal-computer games; VHF scanner receivers; compact-disc players; digital cassette-tape player-recorders; video recorders/playback systems, calculators.

The following may be operated at all times: hearing aids, heart pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, electronic watches & electronic nerve stimulators. Personal life-support systems may be operated during all phases of flight, provided that the equipment conforms to the Federal Aviation Administration criteria.

    Smoking and Tobacco

Smoking is prohibited at all times on all Comair flights. Please be advised that tampering, in any way, with the smoke-detector in the aircraft's lavatory is a federal offense (i.e. illegal) and may result in a penalty of up to $2,000 USD. The use of smokeless tobacco is also prohibited on all Comair flights.

    Restricted Items

Federal law prohibits hazardous materials in either checked or carry-on baggage. Such materials include explosives, compressed gases, oxidizers, corrosives, flammable liquids and solids, loaded firearms, radioactive materials, and poisons. Also radioactive materials, poisons and lighters.

    Medical Needs

Pain relievers and other basic medical items are stocked on all Comair aircraft. Ask your Flight Attendant for assistance.
