**Info On Ferrets?**

Hi! I need as much info as I can find on Ferrets! I've done some research but if anyone knows anything interesting about them that might come in useful, please answer! :)

I've been thinking about getting ferrets so please leave info on how to care for them too!

As this will be your first ferret i suggest going to a rescue and having a look around, kits(baby ferrets) may look cute but they have a h**l of a nip sometimes drawing blood, if you get one from a rescue he can still be young but then he would of been nip trained, litter trained and the owner would be able to pick a ferret that would most suit what your looking for.

Also they lots of out of cage time about 2-3hours every day if you don't do this your ferret will get cage crazy and be very badly behaved.

If you get a female she will have to be spayed if not she can die.

Cost - ferrets can cost alot of money especially if he/she becomes ill, the cage needs too be big.

I would recomment the 'ferrets for dummies' book its a brilliant book and will teach you all you need to know about them.
