Someone please tell me what the h**l, "suspence (in medias res, framed)" means. This is seriously driving me up the wall. Please don't laugh at my delema. I can't find the definition anywhere on line, and lately I've been trying to piece it together using the dictionary but frankly it's gotten me no where. So please share this much guarded info with me and I will be forever grateful!

again, what does suspence (in medias res, framed) mean?

Thanks!

  1. I really hope you're not above grade 7, because you totally slaughtered the English language in that paragraph.

When an author uses suspense he is attempting to cause anxiety and apprehension, and make the reader wonder what is going to happen next. It's like the feeling you get when you're watching a horror movie and the killer is just about to make his move but the character doesn't know, and you're on the edge of your seat. That's suspense.
