Info on Ireland?

Im thinking about visiting Ireland and was wondering if anyone can help me. I need to know if i travel from England if ill need a passport?

And whats the best part to visit?

nah just foto id...a passport wud do but a bus pass is grand. it depends what u want...scenery-the west (galway, mayo or sligo), clare, kerry, Donegal or wicklow...shopping/nightlife-Dublin or Galway..culture-Cork, Galway, Dublin, Kerry or Gaelteacht areas...e-mail me 4 info...

you will need valid uk photo id, like a driving licence. and depends what you wanted to do when you get to ireland... dublin is lovely but gets very crowded, and kerry has good scenery you wouldnt get anywhere else!
