Info on a .44 magnum police edition?

how loud is it?...how strong is the recoil?....what type of bullets do you use?....whats better 9mm or 44 magnum..can you go def from the blast??

  1. The .44 mag is way too much gun for most people; not much fun to shoot after a cylinder full unless you're a hardcore dinger.  Also very loud.


  2. a .44 is going to have a good deal of kick but you should be fine as long as you don't anticipate it and you don't rapid fire. as far as ammo, you use .44 magnum or possibly a .45 or 9mm but depending on the make a .45 or 9mm could totally F-up you gun, so I'd stick with .44 mag to be safe. I would use a .44 mag just because i suck with a 9mm (or any auto-loader for that matter). you can go partially def from long term use without any ear protection (although if your shooting in a small area, like in an indoor range, then you could definitely get hearing damage a lot faster).
