Info on ear piercings please (see below)?

Question

What gauge is a standard earlobe piercing?

Also (i have no idea when it comes to piercings), can you wear barbells and BCRs in a standard lobe piercing?

please give me any useful info, as i really haven't got a clue! i'm only just getting interested in this stuff.

if you got peirced with a gun then 20 gauge

if with a needle then 18 gauge.

the smaller the number the bigger the hole.

your first stretch should be to a 12 gauge.

remember if you go higher than a 00 gauge then its likely your ear will not return to its original size and will need surgery if you want to go back.

If its pierced with a gun, the initial studs are normally 1.2mm and then normal earrings you buy are 0.8mm. Yeah you can wear BCRs and barbells in standard lobes, I prefer to wear labret studs in my ears.
