  1. It probably isn't unless you specified it at time of ordering. If you look at the back of the PC if it is wirelessly enabled there will be an aerial coming out of one of the backplates or alternatively there may be a wireless USB dongle but that should be obvious. My Dell Demension (5100) was supplied with an external  USB Dell Truemobile adapter but that was extra.

The most reliable is to buy a USB wireless adapter that you can plug in on the end of a cable so you can site it for best reception

Alternatively if you go into control panel, system, device manager, any network adapters should be listed

  2. usually old desktop don't have wireless capabilities but non the less there a wireless card the u can put in (pci slots, like a video card) it to see wireless networks.

  3. My Dell Dimension came with a network card installed but it was for a wired network not wireless, you can check what's in your computer by right clicking on Computer/My Computer (Vista/XP) and clicking on manage in the pop up menu, in the next window click on device manager and you should find your card under network, it should also say if it is wireless or wired.

Mine is showing as an Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network connection.

  4. hi.if its a c521 same as mine, then no its not, but you can buy wireless adapter that plugs in usb port.that's how i sorted mine.good luck

  5. Click start>control panel>system>hardware>device manager and look for  network adapter, you will know if your system is equipped with wireless card.To make easy easier if you see only Ethernet card or adapter it simply means you are not wireless enabled
