  1. i would go with mary kay you can make alot of money if you keep trying and sticking to it good luck to you. the more you work the products the more you make. check it ou go to marykay.com

  2. I hate Mary Kay, and hate the way they won't leave you alone. I would say to sell ANYTHING besides it! You will become those freaks who won't leave people alone! I have had them come try to sell me stuff in Target (this made me feel like c**p, because I didn't look good that day. I felt she was saying "you look like c**p, you need Mary Kay") I have had them come up to me at a coffee shop and even at a friends Graduation party!! It was her Mom!! She was even trying to work and sell stuff at her own daughter's graduation party!

I like Avon. Always have. They have fun things for just about anyone, plus it's cheap and just about everyone can find something they would like out of it. Also, all you have to do is drop off a little magazine and come back in a week to take orders. No hard HARSH sales!

  3. It's great that you are collecting opinions and perhaps personal experience however I would make a decision based on fact so do a little research if you haven't already and find the business plan that works best for you.  Personally I was never interested in sales coming from a large financial institution I was a Mary Kay customer for years before my consultant shared the opportunity with me.  I couldn't lose based on the business plan and my love for the product I decided to try it that was 4 years ago I love everything about it the company and it's integrity.  It is a shame people lump people together there is good and bad everywhere.

So which product do you like and what would you recommend to others even if you weren't selling it?  what information would you need to know to decide which company is right for you.

  4. Avon!

  5. In order to be successful in any type of direct sales, you have to put the hours of work in to get the payoff. I started my Mary Kay business almost 4 years ago and it has been very profitable for me (you make 50% profit from your sales and I sell around $250-$600 in a 1 hour Skin Care Class).

As far as I know - there are no other direct sales companies that have a 50% profit payout on every sale, no matter how large or small.

  6. Avon and Mark.

you can make a lot of money and alot of people trust avon more than other company. and also you get discounts too.!
