Info on ships???

Question

When can I find on the Internet, a site that I can put a ship's name in a search engine and get the details about that ship.

I have found a couple of professional sites that charge a few hundred pounds to be a member...

I would like to know if there is a free site available.

I would be searching mainly British shipping but might inquire further afield.

sorry its a tuff one but what i would do first is call the coast guard and they will help you

if you dont have a coast guard where you live there must be a company that patrols the waters and they shout help you
