Thanks, but I don't see the pin it explains in the section you emailed. It is a Toshibae Satellite 100CS and the model # is PA1217U V. The it says part # PA1217U-S2W. Serial #04664140-1. It looks old as can be. Going to try the flashlight thing and also the separate monitor. If you can think of anything else I would appreciate it.Thanks, Sid
