This is not for me!

I personally believe this is murder and would never do it.

But i do not think anything less of a person who does because i understand the reasons i just could never possibly go through with that no matter how hard being a prego teen would be.

so heres what i need to find out for my friend...

how much does it cost?

do you need parental consent?

is it painful?

anything important to know about it?

thanks to anyone who can help!

i told her not to worry about it i would research everything because she has enough to deal with deciding on what to do seeing as she is also against it but this is her and the guys life!

also any advice you would give would help uberly!

  1. From an abortion info site;

    ""- Suction-aspiration:

In this method, the abortionist must first paralyze the cervical muscle ring (womb opening) and then stretch it open. This is difficult because it is hard or "green" and not ready to open. He then inserts a hollow plastic tube, which has a knife-like edge on the tip, into the uterus. The suction tears the baby’s body into pieces. He then cuts the deeply rooted placenta from the inner wall of the uterus. The scraps are sucked out into a bottle (see color photo in back of book). The suction is 29 times more powerful than a home vacuum cleaner.

    - Dilatation & Curettage (D&C):

This is similar to the suction procedure except that the abortionist inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife, up into the uterus. With this, he cuts the placenta and baby into pieces and scrapes them out into a basin. Bleeding is usually profuse.""

She really wants them to tear her baby into pieces? Sick.

  2. What you should do is print out these answers and show her them. The people answering these are parents, and are giving the best advice they can, on another note...

Abortion is Murder, In my opinion, Yes it cost a lot for an abortion, yes you need parental consent, yes the baby is usually termed a fetus by the time most find out they are preggers, yes it is painful, and YOU DO NOT NEED PARENTAL CONSENT TO GIVE YOUR BABY UP FOR ADOPTION!!!  If you think about it, it is only 40 weeks and you are nearing 10 of those already, you can give someone who can not have a baby the biggest joy of their life and you do not have to have anything to do with it if you don't want to , You can even opt for an open adoption if you want your child to know that you are the birth parents.

Planned parenthood is the resource centers she can go to get the info she needs and future birth control. this is why in school they say if your gonna have s*x at least wear protection, there is no such thing as safe s*x!!!

Ya know Zoe... there is a difference between giving a baby up for adoption and not being able to raise a baby

  3. I too am against abortion and it is a very sensitive, personal issue that the government had no business getting into.  Some people may not believe it is murder destroying the life of a fetus but there is no question it is murder when partial birth abortion takes the life of a viable, full term baby!

Have your friend talk to someone at Planned Parenthood they should be able to answer any questions she may have.

Please encourage both your friend and her boyfriend to use birth control.  That would be the greatest help you could give her...

  4. call an abortion center, prices vary a lot from state to state....

if she really will do it, she needs someone to go with her, cause she will be feeling like c**p.

and no, i dont think you need parental consent.

    good luck with this....

  5. people can charge you anything and it doesn't hurt your under anesthesia

this site has alot of information:

    http://www.pregnancycenters.org/

    http://www.abortionfacts.com/

personally I believe abortion is fine and i would do it if it was needed, it would be worse to bring a child into the world that you can't look after.

  6. Your friend should talk to someone she can trust. Ask a doctor those questions, they can tell you anything.
