Is there a way to find out information about a corporation. In this case I need to find information about other companies that it might own, operate, support or sponsor. Is this information available online? Thank you for your help.

  1. You might get a clue from the Secretary of State of the state where the corporation is chartered.  They have a list of principle officers, possibly directors, and a registered agent.  Stockholder lists are not public information.  If it is a publically held corporation the information should be on the internet on Yahoo/Financial or Bloomberg somewhere.

  2. These days you can google anything and find info about it. Any corporation will have good and bad reviews on the web. Remember that the web is an open forum and anybody can voice their opinion.

In my experience, when checking out a new venture, I will do my due diligence, hopefully get referrals and trust my instincts.
