Information about my first Gun?

Hello Guys, I just bought a Gun ( CZ- G 2000) I was told by the seller that 9mm luger is the bullet for this Gun. right. my question is : is there any other ammo or bullets can be used for this Gun and is there any place or website where I can buy ammo with reseanable prices. thanks

9mm luger and 9mm parabellum are the same cartridge.  Full metal jacketed ammo (also known as Ball ammo) is great for target practice. Save the more expensive HP ammo for self defense. Avoid Surplus ammo from Czechoslovakia, as it is sometimes very hot and one batch I obtained was loaded so hot it destroyed a really nice S&W model 39 I had. Cheap surplus ammo is a thing of the past, but you can find some good deals if you look. Try Cheaperthandirt.com, Sportsmansguide.com and J&Gsales.com. Pick up a copy of shotgun news at Barnes and Noble or other bookstores and check the ads for specials on ammo.

The caliber commonly called the 9mm is also the same as the 9mm Luger, the 9mm Parabellum, and the 9x19mm.  This round is not interchangeable with any other 9mm (such as the 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9x17mm or the 9x18mm).  Use only the ammunition that your handgun is chambered for.

Use 9mm Luger or 9mm Parabellum, same thing.  I like the Winchester white box stuff, I can get a box of 100 rd.s at my walmart for a little less than $20.  I'd avoid foreign made ammo if I were you, example Wolf, some guns fire it just fine and others have serious problems due to the fact the "brass" is actually steel, bullets are steel too, so theyr'e also hard on your barrel's rifling. CCI Blazer is another good, cheap brand of ammo, probably available at your local walmart or outdoors store, good luck

But seriously folks, for 9mm, you will not likely find a cheaper price than Walmarts Winchester white box 100 round boxes.  Especially once you factor in shipping costs from any out of area dealer.

I just bought 400 rounds at $14.96 per 100.

The price is unbeatable by ANY of the online retailers I have seen, unless you are willing to shoot the berdan primed Wolf c**p.
