I recently posted a question to find more info. and such on Ireland. I wanted to Thank those that responded.

I just wanted to point a few things out. First off, part of the project is a book of 138 pages, that have to be filled. Of course it has questions and directions on each page. She is in honors 5th grade ect.

This is her project, but yes I am helping her, so she does not get overwhelmed....isn't that what parents do? As for posting the questions myself, I did that for safety reason because my child is only ten. Thank you.

  1. So, do you have a question?

  2. Do you know what I think your right ! If a parent cant help their 10 year old child then that's just wrong! Good on you! By the way don't forget Tayto crisps. Its almost compulsory for an Irish person to bring these crisps back to whatever country they live in. Has to be the cheese and onion variety. There are other flavours but the no ! flavour is cheese and onion. Also we have our own mints over here too. Silvermints. Very nice! Then there's potato farls (like potato cakes), soda bread, treacle tart, the list is endless. Good luck to your daughter. At least shes learning about a great country with the help of you. I'm guessing you could be learning something too!!

  3. It is still HER assignment.

What lesson do you want to teach her? It is OK to claim credit for work someone else did?

There are a number of guaranteed child friendly sites if you are worried about safety issues. An honours student is well able to do her own research.
