How do I get information on preschools?

I'm going to be enrolling my son who will be 15mo in a toddler program. I'm wondering how I can get information about the school and teachers besides just going there to tour/meet. I've looked online and am getting no where. Have you as parent's researched more then just a visit? Please tell me of your experience's. And how can I get the info? I'm a first time mommy so this is all new to me. Thanks!

  1. I was going to suggest BOCES because they run an excellent daycare facility. I go to the Cayuga/Onondaga BOCES for Early Childhood and I work with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. BOCES is a certified daycare facility and you can usually look them up on a website that you can probably find through google.com. Good luck!

  2. try to look in the yellow pages for head start , they have a wonderful programs!!!

  3. Try going to the actual place(s) of business and simply ask. Or you can call. Ask someone you may know who has a child that goes there.

  4. go on http://www.google.com/

    and look up preschools

  5. why on earth would a 15 onth old need preschool ? wait till he is atleast 2 and a half unless you need the day care other then that you are just wasting your money
