Information on henna, and how long it lasts?

I absolutely love henna, and I have been researching it a little bit.

How old do you need to be to get it with parental consent?

How long does it last on average?

I know about black henna, and PPD, but how can I make sure that I get the safe kind?

There's definitely no age limit for henna. It comes from a plant and isn't harmful.

You could try going into middle eastern stores. Most always they'll have them if you ask. Make sure they're the ready, paper tubed kind if you're wanting to apply designs.

Depending on the quality, how long the henna would last would range from 1 - 4 weeks. But that differs on how much you wash your hands and etc., usually will start fading by the 1st week anyway.

Plus, after you apply it, you must keep it on for a while.  About a couple hours for a nice solid color.

I'm not 100% sure about using it on your face.. that'd be difficult, don't you think? haha. i, myself, wouldn't do that. sometimes henna can sting your skin. not sure why, but it's this really cold, numbing sensation.

Cost shouldn't be really expensive at all. It would depend on where you buy it from and whatever is available. I would trust the prices and go with the higher costing one for quality unless the salesperson says otherwise. i wouldn't think it'd be over $20. much less, acutally.

you can get henna tats on the street in toronto for like cheap and you can be 15 if you want heck they dont care about it for henna, you get em done at fairs, and malls, you name it, no age limit that i know of, i used to love em too, but im into the real ink now, i am gettin a panther on my left shoulder next month climbing down a cherry tree, and my name in traditional japanesse on the side, my own little design ;) i cant wait, i got one on my hip, ankle, and lower back, i wanna get sleves done too but all tats need meaning, so i am gonna put one side as a sorta family tree, and the other as my life story, my ankle is my sisters tomb stone, my lower back is horse shoes cuz i own a horse, the panther is my animal and cherry blossom tre is sakura in japanesse, whick is my nickname, and my hip is a tester, i did it myself with my uncles kit, its a stick man cutting grass lolol!

I really dont think there is an age limit on it.

how long it lasts depends on how well it is done and how well you take care of it when you first get it.

&& just do your research to make sure the one you get it safe.

It is good you already know about fake dangerous black stuff!!

YOu can get or use henna at any age. THere is no need for parental consent.

It will last about 2 weeks on the arms or legs, but only a couple of days on the face.

THe skin on the face is very thin with only a few layers for the dye to work on.

Only use safe and natural henna like I do, I get mine here
