For a cybercafé, I’m planning on 1 computer to be the host/server with 5 or 6 client laptops with the option to expand. The laptops will have independent internet browsing capability and email access derived from the host PC. Host/Server will have ability to monitor activity on each client laptop. How do I setup such a configuration? What hardware requirements will I need? What type of system would you use terminal /to host, file servr, or client/srver? What protocol and networking switching device would you use for the 5/6 computers on the LAN and for the wireless access? Regarding cabling what media type would be best for the project? What telecommunicatons device should be purchased?

  1. Y use cybercafe pro is a top five soffware for manage cyber

  2. For monitoring the activity, you will need to purchase internet cafe software.  CafeSuite is one, just google it.

You will need 1 router, which will have all the computers connecting to it through ethernet cables. If you want the option to expand then use a switch that connects all the laptops, then connect the switch to the router. The router should connect to the interent cable modem or dsl modem.

go to each laptop and setup a local network.

your question is pretty detailed, and it's best you get professional advice from someone who has one in ur region. I have an internet cafe here in Costa Rica with 15 computers, I can give you advice , just msg me on yahoo.
