Information on sugar waxing?

Question

I tried to wax using sugar, honey, and lemon juice, but nothing happened. Three hairs were lifted & I was left sticky, red, and annoyed. I did everything [eHow] told me to do, but I am wondering if their information is correct. Has anybody ever tried this & had it work for you? Can you send me the "recipe"?

I have also tried different recipes for sugar waxing and unfortunately none of them have worked. They were either too watery, too solid or just plain messy. I recently bought Sally Hansen's Extra Strength All-Over Body Wax Hair Removal Kit and was pleased with the results although I only used it once. It takes a lot of patience (which I don't have). I also don't suggest it if you do not have a high pain tolerance, but it was a more pleasant experience than the sugar waxing, that's for sure!
