a vet trains for i believe over 5 years and has to pass many exams. before he can practise.  he will then be able to treat animals to health. a vet will work in all areas of animal health.

a vet's life is a way of life usually 'working'  for 7 days and 24 hours of the day.  

not a job for someone who wants set hours.

animals can't choose the hours to be ill and need help.
