Depending on the state in which you live, your guidance counselor (who I guaruntee won't bite if you ask) should have a list of available scholarships in the area. I rarely hear of federal scholarships but I know states do. Especially the state lottery systems or large companies. Check their websites a search for anything that says "scholarship"... You could even try a google search for "[state] lottery scholarship"
