history is the correct term ( it can be cleared easily). Cookies are simply small 'programs'  designed to make it much quicker to reuse that site again rather than tapping in search criteria etc.

Cookies are the information which are saved on the users computer. I.E The reason you're still logged on to Yahoo Answers is because the cookies are storing the information on your computer, and whenever you log on with your computer it logs you on.

uhm that wingstmontana person is wrong. its called history.    cookies are something that makes your internet slower and they track the websites you go to.

1 Browsing history which you can access by  by holding down crtl+shift+I or click on tools on Internet explorer bar scroll down to toolbar and click on History which will populate all your activities for about a week or more.
