My professor had said to buy a textbook "with infotrac." If the textbook I have does not have infotrac, how can this be a problem? What exactly is infotrac?

  1. Infotrac is a CD that includes online resources.  Generally this means things like encyclopedias and periodicals.  Generally professors don't even use the CD, but I wouldn't assume anything without contacting your professor first.
