InfraRed newbie. Camera question.?

I want to shoot IR film on my Canon Xs (film body) but I read somewhere that most EOS bodies, the Xs included, have IR sprocket hole counters and this fogs the film. Is there a workaround for this or should I just use my AE-1 or Pentax K1000? For what it's worth I am planning on using Konica 750nm IR film.

  1. The cameras that use IR counters, will indeed fog film, but not all EOS cameras use this method of counting frames.

Call Canon and see which cameras are IR "safe"
