  1. 1) 18

    2) no, not even close

    3) read this: http://www.jobmonkey.com/airline/html/du...

    4) apply to any airline

    5) good spelling and good grammar helps.

    6) read the following that I wrote for someone else:

You do NOT need to be cute, but it doesn't hurt. Having a great smile is a huge asset. You need to be PATIENT and TOLERANT and genuinely FRIENDLY, as well as a HAPPY person who is not prone to bouts of depression. If you have a short temper or get annoyed with people easily, this is not your career because the general public are often very hard to deal with. Also, if you are startled easily or panic easily when something unusual or a bit scary happens, you should NOT be a flight attendant. Being a FA is also a bit like being a waitress. If you've ever done that you'll have some understanding of what it's takes to be good at it. If other people (especially men) can intimidate you easily, you won't be a good FA, though you can learn to deal with that. If you can get people to relax with simple chit-chat, or are naturally witty that's a plus. If you like kids and old folks, that's a bigger plus. If you can charm the grumpiest of old geezers (especially the captains!), you'll be a winner.

  2. most airlines it's 21 some it's 18

depends some make 21HR not sure about nurses

you do than serve more than serve drinks really... you their for safety mainly and to make people happy!!

go to an airlines website and click careers.

you should have a high school degree and be a people person. shouldn't be shy.

you need a valid passport, expect to be away from family for a little while and you have a training course that lasts for 6-8 weeks.

  3. I would be a nurse if I were you.  Flying is great, but gets old after awhile.  Nurses will always be in demand, and you can work anywhere.

  4. 1. Most dont start hiring till 19, but some dont hire till 21. It varies by airline.

    2. No, you start out making around 15-20K a year. The average salary for F/As is 40K  according to a goverment career site (or 55K according to salary.com) Im assuming the goverment site ooh (google it) is accurate.

    3. Check Emergency Equipment, Check Airplane, Greet Passengers and help them store bags, do the safety demo, check seatbelts fastened and other preflight checks, sit down for takeoff and prepare for a crash (not likely but happens) then you act as a waiter/ess for the cruise part of the flight unless a passenger gets sick or theres an emergency, prepare for landing and carry out landing checks, say good bye to passengers and then do it all over again!!!

    4. Go to the airlines website. Almost everyone is hiring, you have a better chance of getting hired by a smaller regional airline (ASA, Skywest, Comair, etc.) if you havent had expirience in this field before.

    5. Have a High School Degree and a lot of F/As have College Degrees to. 50% of F/As have 1 year of college.

    6. That covers it!!!
