  1. Yes, if you mean "is this an injury as opposed to a disease?"

    then the answer is yes.  And don't take to heart all the criticism you'll get on your spelling...keep asking questions...that's how you learn.

    I've seen pressure sores that look like that, which are not considered to be "injuries" per se but more slowly developing tissue damage from lack of circulation to an area.

    Some infections, which are diseases, not injuries, may also end up looking like this if massive areas of tissue are involved as the infection spreads.

    Your question is not stupid and those who are so viciously attacking your question should be ashamed of themselves.
