I finally have a company that seems interested in me in Germany. I have exchanged several emails and tomorrow have a teleconference. I don't know if this is a good sign or if they do this with everyone? The company is headquartered in Ingolstadt, how is this place? Nice , expensive? Anything about interview tips or abou the place would be so helpful.

Thanks

Chris

  1. In addition to what daffodil already correctly stated:

Ingolstadt is known as a major industrial city in Bavaria, and a company which is headquartered there will most probably be a good choice. Inviting someone for a teleconference sure is something they don't do with everyone. At least the company I used to work for (one of the German telco majors) didn't. It means they're really interested in you.

Good luck, and: enjoy Bavaria. I'm sure we'll see you over here.

  2. It's a nice town in Bavaria it is located along the banks of the Danube River and about 80km from Munich and it's not very expensive (compared to Munich)

Perhaps you should try to get more informations about the company about their business/sales volume and the products and how many people work there and where the company has production facilities and all the names of the heads of the business! Good luck!
