  1. CFCs, now known to be powerful greenhouse gases, are often used in inhalers as a propellant.  When these compounds reach the upper atmosphere, they interact with and break down ozone molecules.  According to Wikipedia, "One CFC molecule typically degrades around 10,000 ozone molecules before its removal, but this number can sometimes be in the millions."

The first link goes to an article about inhalers available without CFC.

  2. nah, man the only thing pollutin our planet man is them farie gals who f**t and burp like beasts.

  3. Most of them don't now because there is no CFC in it. I use the same thing and I wouldn't use it if it did pollute. Also, if some still do, use a spacer. All of the medicine is trapped inside.

If that is the medicine you take on a daily basis and not your rescue inhaler, try twist inhalers. You twist the top and suck in and then thats all you need. It is powder. You can't taste it or feel it. Keep your tongue out of the way though or then you will be able to taste it

  4. The vast majority of inhalers are cfc free now. At least they should be.
