  1. Get yourself a book called "beckett" it is a magazine that has information on prices of cards. Be very careful going to a dealer, even a mom and pop they (some of them) will try to get a better price for them. I had some old cards and did not know about the beckett mag, needless to say I did at one time own a Nolan Ryan rookie card.

It will at least give you a rough idea of what you have in $$ value.

  2. first, you might think dealers in cards, i wouldnt suggest local mom n pop dealers. You can get issues of becketts, or other price guides and do research yourself, they also have online price guides. There isnt a good market for them right now, unless its an exceptional card. Cards have to be near mint to be worth anything. (edges especially)   If you need any help email me, I am not a dealer I collect them as a hobby. I wouldnt suggest mom n pop dealers because if you dont know what you have they try and get over on you.

  3. check out freewebs.com/baseballcardpricing for free values.

rookie cards are usually worth the most!!

  4. Beckett is your best answer PM is wrong if you have the right card the

market is great. Just be sure to you a Beckett most dealers are selling a little under Beckett but some of the oldies are making a lot of money.  Hope you have one of those. I collect/sale/trade cards I have a few that are worth over 100 dollars

  5. Save them for another 50 years, then sell them !i
