Iniesta and Pepe are currently involved in a war of words and after Pepe gave a reply to the Spanish midfielder, the Barcelona star has once again spoken about the Portuguese centre-back.
Iniesta and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 have been involved in a lot of war of words and it all started when the Portuguese centre-back accused the Spanish midfielder of diving during El Clasico.
Barcelona and Real Madrid faced each other in the Spanish La Liga and it was the match which is highly anticipated throughout the year.
The two Spanish giants came face-to-face and since these two teams are always the favourites to win the league, El Clasico is considered to be the title decider.
However, this time round, Barcelona had an eight-point lead over their arch-rivals and the current Spanish champions, Real Madrid.
When the two teams faced each other at the Nou Camp, it was Real Madrid’s first chance of bridging the gap between them and Barcelona, who did not lose a single game throughout the season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 were both able to score a brace during the game and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Therefore, Real Madrid could not achieve anything from the fixture.
The Spanish champions are still eight points behind Barcelona and that is the reason why there were a lot of comments flying around from both the camps.
The one which really pinched the Barcelona locker-room was the comment made by Pepe, who accused Andres Iniesta of diving.
While Iniesta replied to Pepe’s statement by saying that he is hurt, the Portuguese star stated that his statement was hurtful only because it was true.
However, Iniesta has given another reply to the Real Madrid defender and has stated:
“It might seem as if it is a penalty or not [Pepe’s foul on Iniesta] but you can’t rule it out. If you see any of Pepe’s games and analyse his actions…I don’t think it’s me who has to talk about it but I think that with what he does there is nothing more
to say.”
“There have been incidents where he has been the culprit but he has not said anything to that effect.”
Currently the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Real Madrid players are mostly out on international duty as the FIFA World Cup 2014’s qualifiers are kicking off globally.
