Whenever Barcelona and Real Madrid face each other, the atmosphere in the stadium is always at a high and the fans are going wild as the two clubs share a huge rivalry.
When the two Spanish giants faced each other this Sunday at the Nou Camp, many thought that the Barcelona fans are going to be hostile towards Real Madrid.
However, Andres Iniesta has recently revealed that he loved the way the Barcelona fans reacted to the occasion and also expressed that since Real Madrid have a lot of Spanish players, therefore, despite the rivalry, the two teams embrace each other as colleagues.
The Spanish national team that managed to win a FIFA World Cup in the year 2010, and two Euros in the year 2008 and 2012, consists of players mostly from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Therefore, despite the extreme rivalry between the two clubs, Andres Iniesta believes that they have to embrace other players as their colleagues.
The Spaniard spoke about the situation and the atmosphere which was present at the Nou Camp and believes that it was perfect.
While speaking about Barcelona, Real Madrid and the atmosphere at the Nou Camp, Andres Iniesta said:
“It was how it should be. Due to circumstances it was different at certain times, but we embraced as colleagues a while ago. The rivalry will always be there but beyond that we are colleagues who have experienced many things together.”
The match between the two Spanish giants ended in a 2-2 draw which means that the Catalan giants are still eight points above the current Spanish champions and their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.
Currently, the Barcelona and Real Madrid players are out on international duty as the FIFA World Cup 2014’s qualifiers are about to kick off on the globe.
This means that the Spanish players from Barcelona and Real Madrid will be joining hands for a single cause, which is to help the Spanish national team qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup taking place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858.
