Injecting vitamin c straight to blood system?

well i know vitamin c is not really well absorbed in the digestive tract,what if it was injected to the bloodstream.vitamin c is a really good antioxidant,imagine what it can do in full effect?

  1. No. Any injection directly into the blood stream can cause problems. If you are even considering attempting this you need help.


  2. Administration of Vitamin C intravenously has been studied as a possible cancer treatment.  I don't believe it's showed any conclusive benefit.  You can increase the absorption of oral Vitamin C by taking it food or trying a slow-release formula.

  3. It's also an acid. It is put into IV solutions pretty commonly, both as a vitamin and as a way to get the urine acidified when that is needed. But it doesn't generally do much. What it does in "full effect" is that it gets peed out almost as fast as it goes in. Drink your OJ and forget about it. The OJ is more than adequate, and better for you in general.
