The Australian fast bowler, James Pattinson, is most likely to miss out on the whole Australian summer after facing a serious side injury during the Adelaide Test against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in the ongoing series.
The news came after results from the scans revealed the seriousness of the injury which struck when the bowler took the second new ball on the third day of the Test. With serious pain in the left side of his body and a rib injury, James Pattinson was said

"James Pattinson sustained a left lower rib injury, similar to a 'side strain' on day three of the Test which will effectively rule him out of contention for the remaining Tests this summer, whilst side strains are not uncommon in bowlers, James' injury

Reviving from a continuous streak of injuries, the fast bowler finally found rhythm in an impressive display during the first game against the Proteas at Brisbane, but unfortunately, fitness issues again hindered his progress.
