Injured Reserve in FF?

I am starting a FF league and want to know if it is good to allow Injured Reserve. If so, how many?

  1. Just me, but I though IR was for guys who are out for the entire season.......

    Why would you wanna do that.  If a keeper league I guess but still why would you wanna do it


  2. There are dropdown spots available for IR in some leagues - it depends on what type of Yahoo league you're in.  IR in fantasy is different - you can bring a guy off of it - it opens up a roster spot when you have a man on it while still allowing you to hold on to the injured guy.

  3. If a player in the NFL goes on Injured Reserve, he is out for the season.  It is not like baseball's Disabled List.

    It would not make sense to have the spot on a Fantasy Football team, especially the free leagues like Yahoo! that are drafted each year.
