Is there a law that states that I should be paid for the time I am required to be at the dr. during my workday?

  1. compensation insurance should pay for this or have your doctor put you on a medical leave

  2. No.  And no one is going to pay you for your time at the doctor's - or for PT.  Or your milage, to get to and from the doctor's.

Sometimes, stuff happens.  Just because it happens to you, doesn't mean someone else is going to PAY you for it.

Workers comp should be paying you the difference between your restricted duty pay, and your regular duty pay.  But if you're working 40 hours, and doing the doc on your own time, you don't get extra money for going to the doc.

  3. This should get worked out in the WorkersComp process.
