  1. I know who to talk to about this now.  Thank you for the generous offer to assist me, along with the fellow users on Yahoo!Answers.  mrs. adams, all kidding aside, may I Thank You?

I have a question, Why do people think they should step in, and play God when they see an wild animal in distress in the first place?  I just don't get this.  I hear so many stories from people about how they just HAD to bring a baby raccoon, or baby squirrel to their house and rehabilitate it.  I think nature is capable of handling most of these cases, not all, but surely most, no?

Do Advise,  as I am going to see a Bottle Nosed Dolphin in 30 mins, and would like to know if you could meet me there?    Jen

  2. nothing gets my goat more than when some do-gooder brings in a baby animal (wild) to the SPCA,many times the mother is in the midst of transferring her babies from one site to another and hear comes human do-gooder  scares of the parent and "rescues " the baby.Deer that live in suburban areas will hide there young in shrubbery while they go and forage every year you guessed it  some person finds the fawn grabs it and takes it to a vet leave the poor thing alone the parents hide it there and they will come back for it.People that possum raccoon or gopher that got hit by a car leave it let nature take its course, the money wasted on treating these animals could be better spent on spay and neuter programs to help ease the conditions at animal adoption centres
